Well, you my friend, are in luck! TheEventOf… is looking for guest writers to create a more diverse and well rounded experience for our readers. By opening the door to guest writers I hope to bring many more voices to this blog, create a forum for debate, and engage with my readers in new ways.

Cool! How do I start?

It’s easy! All you have to do is contact me and I’ll set you up with a username and password to a limited version of TheEventOf’s WordPress dashboard. From there you will be able to write as many posts as you so choose and submit them for review. Once your post has been submitted I will read and review the posts and either publish them as is, edit them slightly, or if they require more work or if I feel like there’s an area that I think you should elaborate on I’ll contact you with my notes.

Are there any Rules?

Unique content that is and always will be unique to TheEventOf.com. All content and images should be free to use without breaking any copywrite laws.

Guide to Getting Published

  • Be unique – The more creative your point of view is the more likely you will end up not only getting published, but a great blog post in the process.
  • Be yourself - Speak from experience and let your personality come through in your post – readers want to engage with the author.
  • Have fun – Most importantly just have fun writing the post and enjoy yourself.
